How does TrafficDito work?
TrafficDito is like that friend who constantly whines... about traffic.
The only difference is, we don’t consider it whining. We call it ‘reporting’. We then assign labels to these reports, categorize it by area and then add our super secret algorithm in there.
We make it really easy for you to search for traffic conditions by location so you can use the complaining and the ranting to your advantage!
Note though that we only include tweets from the last 3 hours and tweets from people who have public timelines. If your Twitter account is private, we don’t and won’t include them!

Sounds cool, now how do I use TrafficDito?
Madali lang sobra! Just go to the homepage, find the search bar:
...and then search for a specific location! Let’s say you’re going to Greenbelt and want to know how heavy the traffic condition is in that area. Just type ‘Greenbelt’ in the search bar, press enter and then VOILA!
You might end up staying home or still going (so what if traffic is heavy!) but at least you’ll know just what to expect.
Aside from being able to use mall names to search for traffic status, you can also use highways, roads or even schools. Try it!

How can I save my searches?
Saving your searches comes in handy if you don’t want to have to keep typing keywords each time you go to TrafficDito.com.
The only thing you’ll need to do, though, is to register using your email address.
NO, we are not going to spam you, neither are we going to sell your email address to that acai berry marketer. We are simply going to keep your email address and then maybe stalk you...
Yes, that was a joke. We’re not going to do anything with your email address geez. It’s just there so we have a way to save your searches... and stalk you. Muhahaha!

What are Top Searches?
Top Searches are basically the areas in the metro that people search for a LOT. This doesn’t necessarily mean these areas always have bumper to bumper traffic. It just means there are a lot of TrafficDito users checking up on these locations.
Statistics say that people who use TrafficDito a lot are very intelligent, have very passionate love lives and are generally very very lucky.
Please copy and paste this text, send to 298 friends and in 2 days, your crush will call you. No joke! This happened to us!

How accurate is TrafficDito?
We have invisible unicorns flying in the sky looking down and monitoring roads for traffic conditions. These beautiful creatures then alert our command center, manned by miniature dwarves, who then feverishly type in these reports. Finally, accuracy is then quadruple-checked by handsome elves… before being posted on our site.

I tried searching for an area but it didn’t give me any results, why?
TrafficDito collects real-time traffic-related public tweets from Twitter. If you tried searching for an area but didn’t get any results, it means nobody tweeted or mentioned any form of traffic situation in that area.
Remember waiting for announcements for class suspensions? If there are no announcements, classes resume. In TrafficDito, if there are no reports, then the traffic condition in that area could be generally good. Just prepare to be surprised! It may (or may not) be your lucky day!

Some of these reports are not helpful. What can I do about them?
When you hover over the reports, 2 options will appear. You can mark reports as "helpful" or "not helpful". Reports that are marked "not helpful" will disappear from the reports list. Magic!
