What Information Does TrafficDito Collect?
TrafficDito collects information about our readers so that we can provide a more interesting and useful service, as well as more appropriate advertising. We ask for your name and email address when you register for Membership to use our Website. We may also collect your name and email address when we conduct surveys as well, although you do not have to respond to them.
If you use our invitation option to email one of yours friend about our Website or service, you will need to provide us with your friend's email address and your email address as a return address. We will automatically send this person a one-time email inviting your friend to visit and register with our Website. We will not use these email addresses for any other purpose.
How Does TrafficDito Use the Information?
TrafficDito collects personal information to provide you, the user, with the best and most personalized experience possible, and to provide our advertisers with an efficient way to reach the right audience. In short, by knowing a little about you, TrafficDito can deliver more relevant content and advertisements to you.
We conduct research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior based upon the information you provide us when you register or based upon the information on our server log files. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. We may also notify you of future products, services, or areas of our Website that we think may interest you based on the information we've received.
How Do We Use "Cookies", "Web Beacons", “IP Addresses” and Aggregate Information?
In addition to cookies, we may also use tiny electronic images or "Web beacons", which allow us to count users who have visited specific pages or access certain cookies. We may use Web beacons in the following ways:
- To count and recognize users,
- To conduct research on behalf of some partners on their websites, and for auditing purposes,
- To determine aggregate information about users, including demographic and usage information,
- To determine which email messages were opened and/or acted upon when we send HTML-formatted email messages (messages resembling Web pages that include graphics).
Internet Protocol address ("IP address") are automatically provided by your browser to other computers with which you communicate over the Internet, so that they know where to send you information. We receive an IP address each time you view one of our Web pages, because the browser automatically reports it to us. We also may store the IP address when you register with TrafficDito or post a message. We may use IP addresses for various purposes, including:
- Diagnosing service or technology problems.
- Assessing and maintaining system security.
- Displaying the most appropriate advertising or content.
- Studying how people use our Website and how we can improve it.
Aggregate information refers to information your computer automatically provides to us and that is not tied back to you as a specific individual. Examples include referral data (the websites you visited just before and just after our Website), the pages viewed, time spent at our Website, and IP addresses. When you request a page from our Website, our servers log your IP address to create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers and partners. We use this aggregated information to determine consumer trends and needs, which allows TrafficDito to advertise more effectively, and allows you to receive advertisements that are less duplicative and more relevant to your interests.
What about Information Collected by Third-Party Websites, Ad Servers, and Sponsors
TrafficDito may use a third-party advertising company to serve ads to you when you visit our Website. This company may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visit to our Website in order to provide advertisements about products and services that may be of interest to you. In the course of serving advertisements to this Website, our third-party advertiser may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser.
Many of our advertisers or sponsors link from our Website to areas on their own websites where they sell their own products and services. If you follow links from our Website to others, you should be aware that you are doing business with those other websites, which have their own privacy and data collection practices. TrafficDito has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies (and we may not even know what they are). For more information regarding a website and its privacy policies, check that website.
How Do We Respect Children's Privacy?

We may change this Privacy Statement at any time, but we will give notice of any material changes on our Website and/or in email messages.
